Salt City Slam!

Congratulations to Mozart Guerrier and Seneca Wilson of Salt City Slam, the winners of our most recent DISHES event!



With the $1,000 raised by DISHES attendees, Guerrier and Wilson plan to launch a monthly poetry slam at Art Rage Gallery, on the North Side.

Roasted Beet Salad with Baked Apple Chips, Feta Cheese and Herb Vinaigrette (vegan without the cheese, gluten free)

Entrees:

Two Bean Vegan Chili (vegan, gluten free)

Vegetable Lasagna with Spinach and Oyster Mushrooms (vegetarian)

Hot Turkey Sandwich with Sumac Gravy, over Columbus Bakery Bread

Mobile Sauna: A mobile sauna that is free and open to the public.

CINECUSE brings independent filmmakers to Syracuse to shoot a film, over 48 hours, with local filmmakers and actors.

Dog park: Build a fun, social place for people to bring their dogs on the southern edge of Barry Park.

The Erie Canal's Rustiest Bike Circus Tour:

Circus artists bike between Syracuse and Rochester, performing along Erie Boulevard and presenting historically themed circus shows in canal communities along the way.

Salt City Slam: Monthly spoken word/poetry slam competition on the Northside.

Tickets went on sale Wednesday, February 15th and sold within 3 days.  Holy moly, amazing!  Thanks everyone for the show of support and generosity.  For those who missed getting a ticket this time around, many apologies - - we are looking for a larger venue for future events to ensure that you there.
